HearingScribeA MacWhisper alternative built for long, multi-speaker recordings.
MacWhisper is a popular, capable Mac app, and like it, HearingScribe runs on your Mac. HearingScribe focuses on one job: long hearings, interviews and meetings with several people, turned into a transcript you can quote.

Questions
Is HearingScribe better than MacWhisper?
It depends on what you need. MacWhisper offers many models, dictation and integrations. HearingScribe does less, focused on long multi-speaker recordings and quotable transcripts. The free version lets you compare with your own recordings.
Can I move my MacWhisper transcripts over?
HearingScribe works from audio. Drop the original recordings in and it transcribes them again.
Does it run offline like MacWhisper?
Yes. Transcription runs on your Mac; the internet is only used to activate Pro once per Mac and to check for updates if you allow it.
