Session transcripts that never leave your Mac.
For therapists, counsellors and coaches who record sessions with their clients' agreement. HearingScribe transcribes on your Mac and labels who spoke, so you can review a session or write notes without sending the recording to anyone.

Speakers are labelled automatically. Rename them once and every line updates.

Questions
Is HearingScribe HIPAA compliant?
HearingScribe doesn't receive, store or process your recordings on any server: everything stays on your Mac, so no business associate is involved in transcribing. Your own obligations still apply, including client consent, securing your Mac (for example FileVault and a password) and how long you keep records. This isn't legal or compliance advice.
Do I need my client's consent?
Yes, get your client's agreement before recording, and follow your professional rules and local law. HearingScribe reminds you each time you start recording.
Can I use the transcript as clinical notes?
Use it as a draft for your own review. Automated transcripts can contain mistakes, so check anything important against the recording.
Which languages?
English, with Spanish in beta.
